Sandrine Holt (born Sandrine ho) was born on 19 November 1972, in London. Her parents are Chinese man as well as the other is a French woman. As a child, she moved to Toronto, Canada and has called it home since then. She started out as Paris catwalk model, but later decided to pursue a career as an actress. Her debut film was Annuka as Annuka in Black Robe (1991). Her role in this film was recognized by her for the Genie Award (Canadian Oscar). Rapa Nui's appearance as a character in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas and Dance with the Murderer were followed by guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force as well as Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension. John Woo's The Thief saw her appear in 22 of the episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation and Resident Evil Apocalypse followed in 2004. The actress was also given a greater series role in 24: Twenty Four, and Runaway. Holt began her acting career by playing small guest appearances and smaller role in series. The year 2013 was the first time she landed the lead role of Hostages and was also cast as a support character in Netflix's House of Cards. In 2015, she was Julie Han in The Returned's US remake. She was cast as Dr. Bethany Exner.
